CWS FL seeks to alleviate human suffering and work toward a more just world. In our pursuit of these goals, CWS walks alongside people and communities impacted by conflict, disaster and marginalization towards dignity, resilience, belonging and the transformation of power and systems of inequality.
Disaster Services
What we do
1. We address urgent human needs and work for justice
CWS FL accompanies people impacted by some of the world’s most significant challenges: conflict, oppression, forced displacement, hunger, human rights abuses, disaster and the negative impacts of climate change.
In response to these significant challenges, it is critical that we steward our resources wisely, directing them to where we can have the most meaningful, just and sustainable impact.

2. We focus our work in contexts of conflict, disaster and marginalization.
We are committed to designing and delivering programs and services based on humanitarian need and do not discriminate in the provision or design of programs and services for any reason including race, religion, ethnicity, gender, nationality, or sexual orientation.
Mindful of our faith-based identity, we particularly note our commitment to including individuals and communities who are not associated with a particular faith, and those of minority faiths within a majority religious group when designing and delivering programs.
We support individuals and communities who may be excluded from, or unable to access, available services or benefits.
