When Lisa heard the truth, she couldn’t forget it.
In rural Kenya, many girls never get the chance to go to school — not because they don’t want to learn, but because their families don’t know how to enroll them. Lisa wanted to help, but she never imagined that just $5 could make such a difference.
The problem wasn’t poverty — it was lack of information.
School for girls is still a new concept in many communities. Without guidance, families don’t know where to start — and as a result, too many girls stay home, missing out on the education they deserve.
That’s where CWS stepped in.
For only $5, CWS provides a customized informational session to a family, walking them through how to enroll their daughter in school, addressing obstacles, and showing how education can benefit the entire household.
Lisa saw the opportunity — and took action.
She donated $5. It felt small, but it was exactly what one family needed to take the first step toward a brighter future for their daughter.
Now, because of Lisa…
One girl is preparing for her very first day of school. Her family understands the process — and believes in her future. And the door to learning is open, not just for her, but for others who will follow.
Lisa didn’t just donate. She sparked a beginning.
And with just $5, she helped change the story for an entire family.
