Children like Jackelin Caal, a 7 year old girl from Guatemala who died from exhaustion and dehydration in Customs and Border Patrol Custody.
Parents like Afkab, a refugee from Somalia whose wife and children were set to join him but due to changes in policy became stuck in Kenya and unable to re-join him in Ohio for more than 6 years.
Kids like Ruth, a 17 year old from Honduras who escaped gang violence only to be refused entry to the U.S. and forced to remain in Mexico for many terrifying months facing threats of kidnapping and constant harassment.
